The National High School BBQ Association® (NHSBBQA®) is the sole owner of its trademarks, service marks, names, logos, acronyms, program titles, and related branding (collectively, the “Marks”).
These Marks identify a nationally governed educational organization and distinguish NHSBBQA® programs as operating under approved standards for education, safety, and oversight.
Use of NHSBBQA® Marks is not open or implied. Permission to use the Marks is granted only to approved schools, state associations, and partners that participate through an authorized educational license and that remain in ongoing compliance with national governance, safety, and program requirements.
The purpose of this page—and the sections that follow—is to explain:
Who owns the NHSBBQA® Marks
How permission to use them is granted
The standards and oversight that apply to authorized use
The rights retained by schools and districts
The limits of permitted use
Together, these notices protect students, schools, communities, and the integrity of the national program.
“If a program uses our name, it does so by permission, under standards, and with oversight—so schools and families know what the name represents.”
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the National High School BBQ Association®.
National High School BBQ Association®, NHSBBQA®, and related marks are used under licensed educational governance standards. Participation is subject to approval and ongoing compliance with national program requirements.
