EXHIBITOR AGREEMENT
THE S.L.A.B.: SCHEELS National Championship of Barbecue®
The National High School BBQ Association® (NHSBBQA®) is a not-for-profit educational organization. THE S.L.A.B.® (Students Learning About Barbecue) is a youth-focused national championship designed to support Career & Technical Education (CTE), workforce readiness, and hands-on learning in a safe, professional environment.
By submitting an exhibitor application and participating in THE S.L.A.B.: SCHEELS National Championship of Barbecue®, the Exhibitor agrees to comply with all NHSBBQA® policies, rules, and regulations.
Authority of Show Management
Show Management (National High School BBQ Association®) retains sole authority to interpret, enforce, and amend event rules in the interest of student safety, educational integrity, and orderly event operations. Decisions are final and binding.
Booth Placement
Sponsors and Official Partners receive priority placement. All other placements are determined by registration date, exhibit history, and relevance to the educational mission.
Fees & Payments
A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance. Full payment is due May 1, 2026. Booths not paid in full by the deadline may be released.
Cancellations
Full refunds will be issued for cancellations received on or before May 30, 2026. No refunds will be issued after this date.
Products, Sales & Conduct
Product sales are permitted excluding food or beverages unless approved under the Food Sampling Policy. Alcohol, drugs, tobacco, profanity, or inappropriate content are strictly prohibited.
Trademarks & Branding
Use of NHSBBQA®, THE S.L.A.B.®, or event logos is prohibited without written authorization.
Utilities & Equipment
Exhibitors are responsible for all utilities, internet, freight, furnishings, and equipment. All electrical and safety codes must be followed.
Indemnification & Liability
Exhibitors agree to indemnify and hold harmless NHSBBQA®, SCHEELS, the venue, and all affiliated parties from any claims arising from participation.
ADA Compliance
Exhibitors certify compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Event Cancellation or Postponement
NHSBBQA® reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or relocate the Event due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Removal for Cause
NHSBBQA® reserves the right to remove any exhibitor for conduct deemed unsafe, unethical, illegal, or contrary to the mission of the organization, without refund.
Food Sampling Policy
Food sampling is restricted and requires pre-approval. All samples must be shelf-stable, pre-packaged, branded, labeled, and compliant with local regulations.
Agreement Acceptance
Submission of this registration constitutes acceptance of this Exhibitor Agreement.
